Hire Requirements

Hire requirements:

Photo-card Licence

National Insurance number OR Licence check code which can be obtained from:

https://www.gov.uk/view-driving-licence

If you have the older style paper part please bring an additional form of visual ID (Passport etc)

One form of identification showing your current address dated within the last 3 months. These are as follows:

Household Utility bill: Gas, Electricity or Water.

Bank/Credit Card statement.

Home or Car Insurance documentation

Council tax bill/statement

Shotgun Licence

Mortgage/Rent agreement/statement

Deposits:

All deposits are by a Pre-Authorised transaction and must be paid on the commencement of hire.

Once the vehicle has been returned and the vehicle is checked for any damage/defects/fuel shortages/Mileage and none have occurred then the deposit transaction is cancelled.

For Credit cards deposits this can take up to 2 working days.

Deposits take no longer than 5 working days to fall back onto the card.

Deposits can be paid in cash, this will be returned at the end of the hire.

Licence/Driver Requirements:

Drivers must be aged between 25yrs and 75yrs and have been driving for a minimum of 2 years.

No more than 6 points on your licence and no disqualifications in the last 10 years.

Offences such as SP10, SP30, CU80 etc are acceptable but if unsure then please contact us.

Fuel & Tyres:

We operate a “Like for Like” basis for our fuel, so whatever the fuel reading is on commencement of hire we require the same reading on return.

All Punctures and window/windscreen breakages are the responsibility of the Hirer.

Cancellations:

All bookings are non-refundable however can be moved to a later date subject to availability.

Late Returns:

When vehicles are returned late to either our Rugby ot Daventry branch (Without prior agreement) a charge of £15.00 per hour for the first 2 hours will be applied, after that time then the full daily rate of the vehicle will be charged.
